AI and Data Science
We use the most innovative technologies related to geographic data
Tracasa Global maintains a strong commitment to innovation and the creation of new smart solutions. Within our Innovation Ecosystem, we work together with Tracasa Instrumental to ensure a continuous flow of ideas and value propositions that improve our services, with our own team specialized in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence applied to geospatial information.
Our AI Technologies
Within this Innovation Ecosystem, there is continuous contact between the Innovation and Digital Advancement department and the different business lines of Tracasa Global, which makes it possible to combine knowledge in artificial intelligence and data science with extensive technical and business experience in the geospatial field, planning and developing new innovative technologies with high added value.
Initiatives
Beyond our current AI technologies, Tracasa Global’s unwavering commitment to research, the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and process automation enables us to launch initiatives that combine AI techniques and geospatial data science in equal measure. In doing so, we leverage the latest breakthroughs from our R&D laboratory while addressing emerging trends in a constantly evolving technology market. For example, advanced geospatial optimization algorithms, automatic object detection and identification, advanced radar image processing (SAR/PS-InSAR), time-series analysis, and advanced semantic search for geospatial information.
International recognition: awards and scientific outreach
Through this work the Tracasa Global R&D team has achieved top positions at AI and Earth observation competitions in recent years. In fact, it has already scored two victories and three podiums (top three) at five international challenges of the AI4EO platform, attached to the European Space Agency. In addition, the R&D laboratory has intensified its scientific work in thematic areas related to the company’s business lines, generating more than 20 scientific articles, many of which have had a significant impact on the scientific community specializing in the field, and some of which have been referenced by research centers, such as Google Research, or published by relevant entities, such as IEEE. Along this line, our presence at national and international forums dedicated to scientific awareness and technological development has allowed us to develop a strong reputation in the research community and to be a leader in the use of artificial intelligence applied to earth observation.
